Happy New Year....2018 crafty goals!

Welcome! Happy 2018! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday...I know I did...and with some extra special gifts this year, I decided this was the year I am going to make a change! I loyally follow well-known scrappers and watch their videos constantly and keep wondering....can I do that? I have been scrapbooking for 15 years and I love what I do....and my family appreciates it, but really, no one can understand but you scrappers and crafty people like me..I want to share what I do...I want to be more involved in the craft cumminity! And you may ask, "well, have you submitted anything"? " been published"??...well..no...but not for lack of trying. Today, I submitted several layouts to a popular scrapbook magazine (I am sure you can guess which one...unfortunately, there aren't that many left which is sad) for publication..keep your fingers crossed!! I have been recognized online for projects by scrapbook.com and a couple scrapbook companies, but nothing published! so this year, that is one of my goals. I have also created a youtube channel which I intend to add my own process videos as well as post on my social media sites. I'd love to be considered for design teams which I know it is a lot of work and commitment, but first.. before that is even possible...I need to establish a social media following...I understand why that it is, but definitely intimidating. Lastly, and one of the most challenging goals...is to use my stash!! I am challenging myself to use my stash...which is a lot! I have bought new collections over the years and I am sad to admit...I am still hoarding which is nothing new..we all do it! don't we? so, here it is...my first bog post...it is most certainly a work in progress and still can't figure out to successfully add my social media links to my blog, but hopefully in time. I hope you enjoy and find inspiration in what I do because I know for sure that I have found inspiration in all of the blogs and videos I have been watching over the years...I mean how can you not when you watch along as Missy Whidden, Paige Evans, Irit Landgraf, Andrea Yeager and so many others create their projects!
